Fearne Cotton Should Be Seen and Not Heard

The phrase 'face for radio' certainly cannot be applied to our favourite Radio One DJ, Fearne Cotton.

Not only is she drop dead gorgeous, she has the quirkiest hair in television. Last week the Colour B4 team noticed the radio and TV presenter looking stunning at the Sony Awards – although she won the gong for Best Music Programme, she could have won an award for Best Hair Colour and Style too. Her soft blonde locks and long bob style shows us that Fearne should definitely be seen and not heard.

Fearne is famous for changing her locks on a regular basis. Although she has bouncy, healthy hair now, this hasn’t always been the case. When she started her career presenting children’s television show Diggit, she had lank, dirty blonde locks, which looked like they needed a wash. The super short blonde bob did not work for the teenager at all. She then made her move onto mainstream TV and started presenting Top of the Pops with Reggie Yates.

Fearne sported super blonde tresses with very dark roots to match the Indie rock fashion phase she was going through. When she started at Radio One, presenting the Chart Show, she decided a serious job required serious locks. Dying her hair to a light brown was a big step for the DJ and she quickly changed it back to blonde again. After securing Jo Whiley’s job at the BBC, she decided to go bubblegum pink and now back to blonde again. Phew – we think she may have dyed her hair more times than Katy Perry.

With Fearne’s quirky fashion sense, big brown eyes and milky complexion, this disc jockey is more than your average girl next door. If she wanted to add to her look, she could introduce some lighter shades of blonde to give her tresses the edge they deserve. What do you think? Fabulous or what?
